Well, obviously it could be in different contexts so there are multiple meanings, like with a lot of stuff. Anyway, if you're talking about nothing as in nothingness, then that's absolute absence of everything. It's like not having any dreams or nothing and being asleep. Imagine what would it feel like if you're not born yet or before that but in the timeline of the world, you were yet to be born.

Or imagine if there were no hell or heaven, but only nothingness. Well I'd imagine nothingness to be the kind of things I've been talking about.

Now as for nothing's other meaning..

adjectiveinformal
  1. 1.having no prospect of progress; of no value."he had a series of nothing jobs"
adverb
  1. 1.not at all."a man who cared nothing for her"
You know nothing, Jon Snow.

Having a empty feeling inside or being in a complete empty space were tangible items don't exist.

Picture being in void and all you see is pitch black darkness and you feel nothing around you.

Nothing has so many definitions.
