Hi, I'm a 20 year old guy... My weight was and still is a tad over.
I started to lose weight in July and have lost a reasonable amount since then. I started off at 13 stone 12 and I am now down to 12 stone 5.. So I have lost around 20 pounds. This is for a man at 5 foot 8.
I can see the weight loss on my body all over.. My stomach though, is quite excessive. I have lost some weight there but it is not going down at a rapid rate.I am going to stop the weight loss once I reach around 12 stone.. I can't see my stomach shrinking all that much in 5 pounds. *
I have been going to the gym 5 days a week and incorporating Cardio into my Weight training sessions. I don't think I am doing anything wrong.
Should I continue to lose weight and stop at 12 stone or go down to 11 stone? I don't want to lose the muscle that I have built up and become too skinny.

When you lift make sre you go as heavy as possible. You might just naturally store belly fat the most compared to other people, and maybe belly fat is hard to get rid of for you. Also, eating healthy and drinking lots of water is v. Important.

You can't expect to lose weight in your core if you aren't doing enough cardio or if your weight training isn't intense enough.

People tend to lose fat all over and it's likely that you have lost weight on your stomach. It's just where, as you say, it's quite heavily layered with fat, so the bit of fat loss there isn't very noticeable. Think of it like this - if you had a bowl of 10 peanuts, and you took a couple out, it'd be noticeable; whereas, if you had a bowl of about 50 and someone took a couple out, you'd be none-the-wiser. So it'll take a while, but keep going and it'll gradually go down.Last edited by It's****ingWOODY; 03-10-2016 at 18:29.
