I haven't done a question like this in a long time and I've procrastinated soon much this weekend πŸ˜•. Any help will be much appreciated! πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™
"The Mexican War was the primary factor in increasing sectional tension unto 1850."How far do you agree with this statement?

This sounds like a homework question. Have you done any research and what have you found? Feel free to post specific questions if you're stuck.

I've researched quite a lot but I don't know how to structure my introduction. I have made a decision on the Mexican War being a major part in increasing sectional tension as it led to the Wilmot Proviso, the 1850 compromise and have arguments stating that the sectional tension had already been represented in the political side of things even before the Mexican War but I'm not sure how to create an introduction.
    Btw, thanks for replying! ☺️
