This will be the first time I fly by myself. I'll be leaving tomorrow (partly my company's fault for the short notice). I'm half way with getting my bags ready so I just need to sort out travel (two suitcases, maybe a duffle bag too). Flight departs 8pm Tuesday.

Worst case scenario I can ask my dad to give me a lift but ideally I want to travel without his help. If I did use this method I'd probably leave 5 hours early, 2 to get there, and 3 for waiting/boarding process etc

Closest stations based near me are Goodmayes station or Barking Station

    Any advice?

Coach or train, leave plenty of time.

    Quickest:

    Goodmayes>Liverpool St (TfL Rail)
    Liverpool St>Paddington (Circle/Hammersmith & City line)
    Paddington>Heathrow (Heathrow Express)

^ That will cost the best part of £20. Cheaper alternative:

    Goodmayes>Stratford (TfL Rail)
Stratford>Holborn (Central line) The TfL Rail>Central line change is literally a walk of 5 metres across the platform.
    Holborn>Heathrow (Piccadilly line)
