Basically I need to write a few paragraphs on how and why there was a rapid change in the prevention of illness during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, I need to include vaccinations and carbolic acid and also 1 point of my own!
I've tried doing specific research but I'm just so stuck, someone help!x

This website (http://www.localhistories.org/medicine.html) seems to have information, such as about John Hunter who did sort of start surgery as we know it today.
The Industrial Revolution might have also had an impact?
I'm not sure though, hope this helps ☺️

EDIT:

This looks good too!

I did the history of medicine exam this year (June) and used these notes: http://www.revisegcsehistory.co.uk/d...ugh%20Time.pdf

I understand the syllabus/structure has changed a bit but this has info on carbolic acid and vaccinations if I remember correctly.

For a point of your own you could do another individual such as Semmelweiss perhaps?
