My current school doesn't offer politics A-level. I find the subject really interesting and spend a lot of my free time studying it so i think i could potentially get an A*. I think i'd probably be able to get an A* if i worked hard enough.

So my choice is, would it be better to move sixth forms now to do politics (would be inconveniant but will do if necassary) or to stay put and do it as a gap year instead (and probably get the A*ABB)?

Most universities wont care either way about an additional A level.

However a number of universities and courses wont accept results achieved over 3 years. If you're considering any of those universities then moving sixth form now would be a better option.
