This clown is back in the headlines. It wasn't long ago before we learnt that he dodged taxes.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is getting flak today for an answer he gave on what he would do to address issues around post-traumatic stress disorder and suicides by military veterans.

"When people come back from war and combat, and they see things that maybe a lot of the folks in this room have seen many times over, and you're strong and you can handle it, but a lot of people can't handle it," Trump said, speaking Monday morning at a panel for the Retired American Warriors PAC in Virginia.

Incoming Trump supporters who are gonna say "He didnt mean it like that!" and "Its not offensive, its political correctness!"

His supporters call him smart for dodging taxes, i doubt this will bother them.

PTSD by definition means they're not handling it.

What, exactly, is wrong with what he said? People who can handle it don't get PTSD.

...his supporters will rally behind him regardless and vice versa with his haters. It's more how a lot of undecideds will vote...a lot of folks serve in the military and so this is quite offensive if it did say it exactly as he seemed to. He tends not to, but I wonder if he'll clarify his statement with what is as close to an apology as he can get.

Rule no 1 of political campaigning in the USA: you don't say anything that can be interpreted as criticism of veterans.

His dishonesty, constantly contradicting himself, having puerile hissy fits on Twitter, and impressive ability to put his foot in it is why he is lagging behind a weak democrat candidate.

Well it's at least consistent and he's got a point, whatever you do don't post any photos of fireworks in here.

Did you watch this, or just see the quotes?

He was speaking very honestly to some veterans. Donating money to their cause. Yeah, it doesn't sound great on paper, but at least he was trying to help.

Its pretty meaningless and makes him sound like a bumbler, but what is wrong with it?
