    Hi everyone

As most of you know loads of graduate applications are already open for 2017.

Some of them expire within the next few months.

When do you think is the best time to apply for jobs, while you're still on your third year or after you have graduated?

Does anyone know if most companies open new applications later on for 2017 (for example in September?)

    Thank you for your help

ASAP! If you apply to a major company, the likelihood is they will also be using Taleo to sift through 1000's of CV's. Don't underestimate the importance of getting to the front of the queue (https://www.hcareers.com/article/car...g-an-interview)

Start applying now as some applications shut as and when they fill roles so it's best to apply early. Although there are some that hire year round.

In third year I felt like I was supposed to be applying for grad schemes but just did not have the time. Waited till exams had finished at the end of May and I'd missed out big time. Now months after graduating I'd be happy if I could get any job and have applied to a lot of 2017 graduate schemes already.

I really shouldn't be saying anything because you could become direct competition but get applying as soon as possible for next year!
