A level options help ?!

    • Thread Starter

So I'm in y11 and have to decide my options pretty soon. The careers/degrees I'm genuinley interested in are architecture, medicine/anatomy, phsycology/neuroscience? I'm really torn because I love both the arts and science. I don't mean this is a vain way but I am predicted a* for all my gcses so could pretty much pick any I liked. My problem is that for medicine you need chemistry and I really really hate it, I love biology and maths though. I've found like 4 unis that let you in with just one of biology or chemistry but I don't know if it's too risky in case I didn't get in and would limit my choices for neuroscience aswell. Also Im a natural linguist however and I am being really pressurised by teachers to take French and Spanish at a level because they say I have a talent for i, I get 100% or very close for every mock. I really love languages but don't like the jobs they offer and don't want to risk my chances of not doing another science by them taking up too many options, so I would probably do 1 maximum (most likely French) The other problem is I also love the sound of architecture so I would then need art and maybe maths .The a levels I'm considering are : biology , maths , French , art and at a push chemistry - and I need to pick 4 - just can't seem to find a combination that compromises all my Intrests and also would let me on to the degree courses I mentioned? Is it worth not doing chemistry, I find it quite hard and although I am predicted a* I find it absolutely tedious and have no motivation to revise for it, and so at the moment I'm on an A. Please someone help me pick a combination?
