The new UCAS tariff and you

    • Thread Starter

Did you know that the UCAS tariff system has been changed? It shouldn't affect you too much but it's worth reading up about it to make sure you're clued into what's going on. You don't want to get a surprise when you see your requirements and results!

I've included a link above (and in the word "link" - nice like that!) if you want to read up about the changes. People studying for A-Level, AS-level and BTECs will all need to be aware of the new system:

The new UCAS Tariff is different to the old one. It’s simply a number that allows universities to compare a student’s basket of qualifications and grades. But only a third of university courses use the Tariff to advertise their entry requirements – most will ask for specific qualifications and grades such as “Two B grades and one C at A level”.
Make sure you check out the article to see what else is changing with the tariff
