A) The distance it fell before hitting the water and B) its speed just before hitting the water.
Done part A: distance=0.5*gravity*time^2
Not sure how to do part B? Any help appreciated?

Use the suvat equation v = u + at.
You have initial velocity (0ms-1), the time and the acceleration (g=9.81ms-2)
Hope this helps.Post rating:1
