Is this a sign of interest?

Ive met this girl recently, and she is now in a group project with me and 5 other people. Ive talked to her in person, but she is very shy, so its hard to see her interest levels in person. I have spoken to her a few times, but since she in my group not had the chance for a another one on one*

*however in the project group chat on whatsapp she always seems to notice me. this one time, she said on the chat "[my name] we can park up and walk together" she put an emoticon in after, which can mean she thought it was a risky text.

*Another time, while discussing our project direction, she called me out again "[Insert my name], really is adamant about this" I made a little joke, and said doing animal conservation would suit you. she replied back to me, saying what suits her.

*So im not sure why she has called me out twice, but its really hard to engage in person, as she is shy, and even more shy when other group members are around. Usally with shy girls, talking to them one on one, opens then up, which is the tactic ive done in the past.

She could of just done it, because I'm the only one who has spoke to her a few times.

Emoticons mean nothing unless she did the water droplets with the red lips and the nose...

Sounds like a bit of banter.

Yeah... i wouldnt really read into it too much. You are in a group project so chances are she's being playful/friendly to build a friendship as a team mate.

Stop over analysing things like that...
