Or we could create a new thread for leaderboards

Okay, I'll get working on parts 1-9 then. The only thing is, I can't find part 1 again! This happened before and I messaged Spotify about it and we think it got put into the recycle bin and it hasn't been recovered Also, should palindromes posted by PT before he got banned remain as his?

Yeah it is in the recycle bin and I'm doubtful it will return anytime soon. Being 16k posts long it might break the site.

Ask spots what he wants to do about PT. I don't really have an opinion.

As for PT, void him. Having so many multiple accounts and causing us so much trouble, his posts should be voided.

Regarding the stats, do not put the stats into a new thread; keep them in here.

Good idea We can have the 100 Post Stats in here as well as the Palindrome Stats. We could also potentially have Sprint Sunday (or whatever day) results in here if we go along bringing that back again (or similar).

Pali's from Parts 1 through to 9 would be great as well; regarding P1, what number do you think the starting number should be? Because the numbers before the first 1000 are quite trivial and was in threads infancy.
Plus, I am the only one with access to P1 (it was binned for some reason but I have access to it) so let me know which posts you need so I can get the stats.

Missed this Like I said in previous post, just when palindromes became a 'thing'. If they were a thing from the start then yes from 1-1,000,000 I plan on making a separate weighted point system so early on palindromes aren't as valuable as later infrequent ones. However, another factor I will have to consider is the period of time palindromes were available for. This means 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 will actually have a similar value to a palindrome of today only because they were available for probably less than 20 minutes

That's a shame. It would be cool if we could split part 1 into two subparts then. And okay, I'll carry on awarding PTs palindromes to the nearest poster Just done half of part 9 and geez it's a mess Idk if I should do allll palindromes, my idea is just when it began to become a thing and people liked getting them. Do you know when people started saying palindrome when they got one?

In all honesty, I can't remember when palindromes started to become a "thing".... I know they became a lot rarer once we hit 100k, so maybe we should just count the ones from 100k onwards? I'm unsure as to how to proceed regarding this, anyone else's opinions appreciated

1, 2 up to 9 should not be counted as that was when the thread was created, and therefore those numbers are just "starter" numbers, i.e. have no influence on palindrome status etc. Maybe starting from a decent number (i.e. 10k, 50k onwards etc) would be a better solution, assuming that we do indeed go below 100k as the start of the pali stats.



Splitting P1 would create various problems with regards to the leaderboards and Thread IDs that have been in use - as well as other more prominent problems, such as having to rename every single CTAM thread part since then, which is not feasible for ST or CT to do.

I think the best might be to keep things simple, and have the start point at 100k (see above) - it would cut down confusion and I can't remember when they "became a thing" anyway

I have access to Microsft Excel and Access Just put the 100 post stats into Excel and came across this:
For parts 10-16 there should be 700 total 100 posts. I just summed up the stats in Excel and only got a total of 625 So that's a missing total of 75 100 posts!
What should we do about this? It seems a recount is going to have be done in some of the threads.

So clearly it's part 12 we want to look into...
