My Year 13 Blog Watch

    • Thread Starter

I am applying to do a Mathematics degree

    GCSE's: 2A*'s, 2A's, 3B's, 4C's. I know it's poor especially that both A*'s came in Maths and F.Maths

    AS Levels:
    Maths A
    Economics A
    Further Maths A
    History B - Dropped

I am predicted A*AA and am reasonably confident that I can achieve it. My problem is organisation and I'm hoping that doing a blog will help me solve that problem and keep me on track.

Applications (perhaps could use some advice):

Durham - Hatfield.. I know it's a long shot but hopefully doing well on the TMUA will lower it to A*AA

Last 2 are between Nottingham/York/Manchester. Or perhaps I should go for one lower considering my GCSE's.

I will ensure to update this every day, with what I have done, aimed to do, and how my application process is going. Any advice as to uni application would be much appreciated.

So today was a relatively unproductive day.. Completed my application (I think?)

Tomorrow to-do list (Off for teachers training day)

Complete Paper 1 (and mark) of the TMUA Specimen
Catch up on behind Maths exercises
Missed one Maths lesson so catch up on notes

That should be it I guess.. Kinda like the idea of having this blog to keep me in check
