Should I still apply to Oxford? (History and Politics)

So, hey, clueless applicant here. I just got my IB predicted grades which I'll be using to apply to Oxford. While I gained the point requirement (38), I didn't get the 666 I needed for the History and Politics course, instead I got a 775. My teachers and friends have told me it'll be ok to apply because the course in which I got 5 was English literature while the 7's where from history and global politics but I just feel they are telling me this to not make me feel bad. Can you wonderful strangers tell me if it is still worth it to apply?
