It's a 5 year Mathematical Masters degree with a year in industry at Bath University. I want to study applied Mathematics in hopes to later work in the Banking and Finacial industry or perhaps engineering or research. There is not much data available (There is no information in regards to the number of graduates in industry after 6 months or the student satisfaction). Since this is Mathematical Sciences and not Applied mathematics is there much difference or is it just a different name and would this give me good employment prospects in the future?
