    Hi Guys,

I am currently deciding on a Project to do this year. My interest is in System administration.

I need help deciding on a particular area to focus on. Basically doing the project on something that employers would be looking for these days in system admin field.

Any advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Think of things that interest you, read around them and identify gaps in the knowledge and then come up with a plan. Talk to potential supervisors about whether it's feasible and appropriate.

Implementing and managing many servers with similar configurations can be very boring and time consuming.

There are these three tools to help solve these problems, and are now starting to become more popular.

Could you do an investigation into this type of automation software and write some best practices for the most popular ones.
