With the new A level exam you only need to sit 3 exams, especially if you are doing one year A levels.

Which sociology textbooks are you using for the AQA specification? Any revision guides which have proven to be helpful?

Hi, if you're doing AQA families and households and education then I'd really recommend that you buy the 'succeed at a-level sociology' revision book. It's a good revision book because unlike others, it actually contains enough information to get a decent grade without it being full of too much unnecessary information that can be headache to learn. Last year I really struggled with AS sociology (got Us and Es in two of my mocks). However after I bought the book (it was released in march) and revised from it for the real exam I got myself a B because of it. Obviously if you want an A then maybe add in information from a textbook into your notes but if you want a semi decent grade then for sure buy the book.
