Lack of privacy

I've noticed whenever I'm out (in college, with my friends etc) my mum would always go in my room. She would go through my stuff claiming that she was "tidying up" when she wasn't. Another thing is that she would sometimes move my stuff around or even bin my stuff so I end up having no clue where my things are.

I know it's her house so she has "rights" to do it but I find it incredibly annoying and disrespectful. My room is the only place where I'm happy and can just relax. But I can't be happy or relax because my mum is always up in my face and coming into my room every 5 mins checking up on me, I find it extremely suffocating.

Don't get me wrong, I have no secrets and I'm not hiding anything from her so I don't see why she has to be like this. Does anyone else have parents like this? I don't know how to deal with it anymore

So no offence, but I'm guessing she's just one of those parents that think now you're in college you might start doing drugs and all that stuff. I think she may be a bit paranoid that's why she's searching for things, drugs, condoms, smurfs, who knows?
