Might not be the best place to post it but I have to try: I was in the library last Tuesday (4th October) at 1pm to around 1:45pm, on the ground floor in the west part just past the cafe. I took my books out and my notepad and pencil case to make some notes before class, however due to severe anxiety problems and autism the noise and crowd in there got too much and so I quickly packed my things and left. When I got to my class I found I had left my pencil case behind. Anything not going right really disorientates me due to my autism and need for structure, so it really upset me, especially when I found it hadn't been given in to the library or the campus lost and found. It is black with a red zip and has three compartments, the middle compartment being the most important to me as that has my memory sticks with all my work on it. I have backed up most of it but not so much the new stuff so please if anyone finds it either hand it in or let me know (I'll be checking regularly in the library anyway). The memory sticks also have scanned copies of doctors' notes and lists of my medication, so it really is important that I get it back.
The library seems to think it has been stolen as most things would have been turned in by now and they have looked everwyhere for it, as well as campus security. Going to leave it until Monday and then report it to the police due to the amount of sensitive information on the memory sticks. If whoever is reading this has it, please just give it in and no questions will be asked. It is really causing me some distress.
Is it really that intense? Would I cope?
