# Help with Trigonometry question

You should know the value of cos30 so you can solve for x, if not just stick it in a calculator.
3. You know the length of the hypotenuse and the size of the angle.
Therefore, you need to find the adjacent.

I remember it as 'SOH CAH TOA'
S = Sin
C = Cos
T = Tan
H = Hypotenuse
O = Opposite

So, we have H and need A, so we need to use 'CAH'
So, cos(30) x H = A= cos (30) x 14 = A
So, Adjacent will equal cos(30) x 14.
