I have recently been in contact with a hospital and they say they are willing to let me do work experience there. They require two reference letters and I have asked them whom I should get those from but they just said anyone... . Should I ask one from my form tutor and one from the place where I volunteer (an orphanage) or both from my teachers?

    Thanks

hmmm prob one from your teacher and one from the orphanage, unless of course you think you'll get a better one from your teachers

i had to give one of my work exp placements the contact details of one of my previous work exp places...

How would your teachers give you a reference in the summer holidays

One of each, especially as one is independent of school. School references say you haven't been out into the real world yet and they're usually a bit gooey and don't really say anything. If your volunteer placement people write positively but honestly, then it may actually do more good (Not that I reckon these references will make much difference unless you've killed a baby or something).
