I got A* A B in my a levels, however I need A A A for my course at Bristol (they won't accept equivalent grades). Basically on the subject I got a B was philosophy and ethics. I got As in three modules, but miss read a question and got an E in the fourth module.I was three marks off an A. I was planning to resist the module I got an E in to try and pull up my grade. I am concerned that if the grade has already been cashed in that I will be unable to do this and must therefore possibly resit the whole A level again. The exam board is OCR and I have yet to receive my a level certificates. Would it be possible that the exam board would let me resist the paper, even if I have just missed the deadline to decline my grade? I would be gutted if I possibly didn't get into my first choice uni because of admin stuff....
    Thanks for any help, guys

You can't decline your grade and don't need to.

You can resit the required unit and cash the qualification in again to get a new grade assuming the result improves.
