I need more love and passion in my life

    Hi

So after a lot of thinking and writing things down, I've figured out that there is nothing that I'm really 'passionate' about. As a result I tend to become infatuated with boys and I think that I have become addicted to the feeling - you know the feeling I mean? The excitement and lust that engulfs you when you think about, interact with or look at someone you really fancy.

This is literally the ONLY exciting thing in my life. That feeling. My brain deliberately makes unobtainable guys seem super-attractive because I crave that damn feeling. Whenever there is no one I'm infatuated with, life feels mundane, boring, pointless. This isn't okay.

So I'm just wondering how I can get more passion and love in my life. I need something healthier than my current method. I need a hobby or something that generates similar happy feelings. I need a project.

I have also discovered that I have a lack of love for myself. Although I already have some ideas of how I could sort out my lack of love for myself, anyone else's ideas would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance, even if I don't get a single response to this, I'm just glad that I've finally put it out there! Xx

Minecraft innit. Spend hours digging holes, build ****, then look at your kingdom and think "huh, not only did I design and build all that, but I also extracted the raw materials needed for the construction myself whilst fighting off zombies. Damn I'm good."

Maybe that is a good idea

Do you think you might get a buzz out of helping people? Maybe dance where you'll have a male partner? Do you show the people you love in your life that you care and spend quality time with them? Do things that make you feel whole rather than looking outwards at hot men to bring passion in your life. It's fair enough that you fancy them and of course that gives you a little buzz that's normal but like you seem to recognise making that the only thing in life that lifts you up is setting you up for a big fall or even for them to take advantage of this... You need to actively take control and maybe do some 'research' try new things like I said above and see what sparks up your passion.

Hi, thanks for your reply, I've never thought about dancing before, that's a good idea! At the moment I like the idea of trying knitting. And yes, I am also interested in looking at volunteering at a nursery. I could probably be more open with the people I care about too, thank you again xx
