I have been saving money up for a gap year filled with volunteering, and work experience. For the volunteering I am planning to go abroad to Nepal, and Ghana. I'm planning on organising this with GVI, however it is expensive and sadly I wasn't born into the richer side of life, despite the money I've saved there still isn't enough. Do you know any cheaper volunteering schemes?

Have you done any research around this? Maybe consider organising it yourself rather than going through a scheme?
