I have heard a lot about sun screen. If I use sun screen regularly, will it prevent dark spots? Need suggestions.

If you are talking about dark spots under your eyes, then if you will not sleep enough, sunscreen is useless

    Myth.

Dark eyes are in only the minority of instances due to lack of sleep.

A broad spectrum sunscreen with, importantly, UVB and UVA protection ('superior' for UVA) can help to minimise any further darkening of dark spots, but it really depends on the cause of the dark spots in the first place. You would also need to be aware that you'd need to use more of the sunscreen than you imagine and this could start to get expensive - it wouldn't just be for when it's sunny.
