I am a little confused has to what to do on results day. Once you get your results, do you phone up the university, tell them your grades and then see whether you have got a place?

Oh no. If you've met your offer, the universities will know today Only if you want to do some bargaining to get into your desired uni after having missed your offer slightly should you really ring up. Good Luck for thursday

On results day you can (if you want to) check on Track - https://track.ucas.com/ucastrack/Login.jsp - from 7am onwards to see if you have got into university. It is up to you whether you want to do so.

If Track says 'Unconditional' that means you have either got into your firm or insurance choice. If Track says 'Unsuccessful' that means you have not got the grades you need for both your firm choice and insurance choice. If Track says 'Conditional' that means your universities are still deciding whether to accept you or not or Track hasn't updated yet. Once you have your results, ring up your universities to see if they will let you in .

God it'd be awful to see 'unsuccessful' on UCAS after working so hard. And I can't believe unis know whether we're in or not now! Eek.
