I want to work abroad in the future, does that mean i should take IB?

    • Thread Starter

I'm currently in year 11 and i have been asked to choose my a-level or ib options but i don't know whether i want to do IB or A-level. In the future i would like to go to University in the UK but after that I would like to work for an international company or be able to work abroad. Do employers prefer IB over A Levels in this case because i thought that by the time i have my degree in whatever i do it will not matter that much.

    Hi there,

I personally would say it won't make a huge difference - degrees are more important - but experience and skills are the most important areas to focus on.

    I hope that helps
