Speaking and Listening

    • Thread Starter

for my Speaking and Listening i have chosen the topic Hinduism and i dont know how to start with it.

Here are some good ways to start a speech:

    - quotes from famous figures
    - statistics
    - rhetorical questions
    - anecdotes

So depending on what you've chosen to talk about with regards to your topic of Hinduism, you could start with maybe a line from the Vedas, the number of followers in the UK, a "did you know" style fact about Hinduism or something else.

    Hope this helps!
