Applying with low predicted grades

So I'm predicted BCD for A2 which is my fault for doing bad in AS. However I'm trying to redeem myself through assignments, work in class and taking revision seriously. I'm planning on applying to 1-2 universities that have typical offers of ABB, 1-2 with BBB and 5th option will be lower. Some of my choices offer foundation year, in case I flop my exams.

I'm applying for Environmental Science which I don't think is popular - so I'm hoping I have a chance if I manage to get the grades.

I was wondering if I were to apply for a foundation year but exceed my predicted grades at the end of the year and match a BSc 3 year course requirement, would I be offered that or would I have to go into adjustment and apply for it?

You'd probably have to go through adjustment.
However, if you don't get the offers you want, you could always take a gap year and then reapply with your achieved grades!
