hello everyone,I am considering going into law as a profession, and I shall hopefully do this subject for a degree.however, my school says that we need to do a week longs work experience after our GCSES. I am currently 15 and am in year eleven. so, I have looked for work placements in London at chambers and legal firms and unfortunately, I cannot find any that will offer me an oppertunity. all of the firms in London seem to only be offering placements for disadvantaged children, and I don't seem to fall under this category.where can I apply? ideally it would be a top law firm in London. thank-you,Hannah

Think you are a bit young tbh. If you have any family connections then you should use those, but law firms are businesses and that means they would need to keep an eye on you and that costs money.

If you want experience in a top law firm then maybe you should be looking at top law firms?

You might have more luck in the public and voluntary sector, but they arent top law firms. You just ahve to make sure you have a good application that shows you have done some research and explain why it would be worthwile for them to give you the opportunity. get your parent or teachers to check your application.
Law is very competitive to get into.
