    Hi

Although my UG is in Accounting and Finance, I'm looking to do a MSc course in statistics for which I need to take a 1 year access course (Graduate Certificate) via distance learning so I'm looking for a role which is only a year long.

All I have been able to find is PWC which has a graduate placement lasting between 6-11 months. Do you know of any others?

A graduate scheme is a recruitment programme for organisations that need to bulk recruit generic graduates and have a range of roles they show them, assess them in and then allocate them to, for onward careers in the company. The point is to assess the raw material and find where it would best fit in the organisation, before deploying it in its most efficient place.

That doesn't fit with your 'gap year' needs and I suspect that even if an organisation had a process that lasted one year (and most will, because they need to free up the resources for the next year's entry), your proposition of leaving after a year completely goes against what a grad scheme is for.

You just need to get 'a job'.
