I'd like to study Politics at university. Could anyone give me some advice on what work experience etc universities would like in this area? Also would becoming a member of the Conservative party be a good idea?

    Thank you.

Try seeing if you can shadow a local councillor. I study Politics at uni and tbh it's not essential. As long as you demonstrate your interest in politics outside of the classroom in your PS then you will be fine.
