    First convert 30kmh-1 to ms-1 (multiply by 1000 and divide by 3600) = 8.33
    then a = (v - u)/t = (8.333-0)/60 = 0.1389 ms-1

    rearrange v² = u² + 2as to a = (v²-u²)/2s = (0 - 8.33²)/2x500 = 0.0694ms-2
