But what if the body odours overpower the anti-perspirant, causing a stale smell anyway?

My mum always puts the washing on the washing line? Shall I tell her to start using a tumble dryer instead, if the washing line is picking up odourful winds?

Hahahaha, odourful winds? Where the hell do you live?

Oh to answer your question, no drying your clothes on the washing line is not making you smell. Wash regularly, use deodorant, wear clean clothes and jobs a good'un

As far as I know, perspiration itself is reasonably odourless, it only begins to smell unpleasant once it mixes with the bacteria on your skin. For this reason it's essential to wash under your arms and other potentially smelly areas at least once a day, and use a decent soap and/or shower gel, and an anti-perspirant deodorant (I find roll-ons to be the most effective), in order to avoid smelly wet patches.

You're either very 'special' or are a troll. But i'll proceed as though its the former, anti-perspirant stops you sweating and therefore the sweat cannot produce the bacteria which create BO. So wash (shower/bath) and put anti-perspirant on.

Listen, I already use anti-perspirant (Sure for Men) and I have never smelt of B.O. whilst I have been using that. However, I still smell stale, my clothes smell stale and the smell of the anti-perspirant is not helping.

Normal people smell like a bed of roses when I walk past them, and I smell like old shoes. They have freshly washed clothes (with a nice scent) and decent deodorant/aftershave, whereas I have to wear stale anti-perspirant just to stop myself from smelling of B.O.

I was not dealt a very good hand in life. :frown:
