My school has this programme whereby Year 12s can tutor Year 7s in numeracy. Everyone else does this for their Welsh Baccalaureate, in which pupils need to complete 30 hours of community/voluntary work, but I've already done this community work. The programme takes place for 30 weeks, 1hr/week. Should I do it anyway, considering I want to apply for maths at university (possible Oxbridge)? And also to improve my (currently awful) speaking skills? Or would it just be a waste of time? (I'm currently doing 4 AS subjects as well as Welsh Baccalaureate, which usually takes 2 years but I'm doing it in 1)
