I think the whole evil uncle and evil stepmother thing has been used a lot of times and even the evil biological father is popular. So I was wondering if creating an evil stepfather seems cliche in a story

HEY, you can't do that! Nans are amazing!
    *Meanwhile,
Nan: <my name> why the hell aren't you studying? You're always studying when I ask you to help me with the dashed telephone (her name for a mobile)
    Me: Nana!
Nan: I'm calling your mother, young man. I do know how to call people.*
#TrueStory Um, the evil nan thing is definitely a good idea.

Yes I asked mine to staple some paper together for me and she sewed it.
    Should I be concerned?

I'm pretty sure that's cliche too, isn't that what half of Disney villains are?
