I've confessed to my crush of 1 year, he said he's not gay but would definitely hang out with me. cant change any of that i know, the truth hurts. hurts like hell. but i guessed ive always knew he wasn't. but it sounds harsher coming from him.

Better than my first experience. I told a girl I liked her when we were 15 or 16. I still see her around sometimes (we're 24 now) and she still thinks it was a joke.*

You can't do anything if someone doesn't have feelings for you back. He sounds very understanding and that didn't make an impact on your friendship, which, is great. I always think to myself that I can't hit on my friends because presumably they're all straight so try not to get emotionally invested? It sucks but imagine how much better it will be when you find someone who can reciprocate your feelings. Good luck!!
