IB in Swansea College

I'm looking for people who did or are doing an IB in swansea college, I'm considering starting the course in september and thats the only college that does it in my area, if i'm going to swap colleges i want to know what the one i'm changing to is REALLy like..

so would anybody recommend swansea college?
did you enjoy their course?
did you pass?
and how much does it actually cost altogether?

A girl in my English class left my school to do the IB two years ago at Swansea College; as far as I know, she enjoyed it. I rather wish I'd done it sometimes instead of staying on in sixth form at my school.

Good luck with your GCSE results!

It's not much help but I looked at going there to do the IB. I was fully prepared to move there and go.

If you were to do the course, it looks like you would be in good company.

I thought the fees only applied to international students.

your situation pretty much reflects mine
got 9 GCSEs
then went to college last september to do AS levels but found it boring most of the time
now i don't want to go back there and make the same mistakes again
i want to do something different!
IB seems like more of a challenge

are you doing an IB this year coming? in wales?

I should be doing the IB yes, but not in Wales now, unfortunately. I never got round to applying at Swansea as I spent a lot of time thinking about it whilst applying to other places and then it was a bit too late.
