    Hi Hanna!

What are you interested in doing/seeing around Glasgow and Scotland?
Glasgow is a very lively city with plenty to do! It's also a great base for day trips around Scotland.

If you have any questions, let me know! I'm here to help

Hi Mariah! Thanks. I'm thinking of going to the tourist places like Buchanan Street?

Buchanan Street will have you sorted for shopping! It has all your High Street shops. In terms of nightlife, the West End is gorgeous and filled with cool, quirky bars, rooftops, and laneways. There's an old church which has been renovated into a bar called Oran Mor which is quite cool to visit, and if you're there at the right time sometimes you'll get shows and concerts in the basement of the church.

Depending on how long you're there for, I would recommend a day trip to the highlands. You can get reasonably priced coaches to the mountains and lochs, which will be amazing if the weather allows. Or for something like £11, if I remember correctly, you can get a train ticket from the centre station to Stirling and spend the day there.

Let me know if you need anything else!

    Happy travels!

Yes, for sure. The west end defo. And Byres Road has to be one of the best city streets, or maybe the best, I've ever been on. Tons to do and great atmosphere.

Glasgow is definitely worth a visit! Great attractions, great people and great accents :teehee:

I'd recommend at the very least a weekend to explore Glasgow on its own. There are plenty of shopping centres, museums, tourist attractions, pubs and it's easy to get other towns, cities and attractions such as Loch Lomond, Ayrshire and Arran, Edinburgh and the Highlands from Glasgow.
