    Both are acceptable. However it should be noted that appendices is usually used as a plural when referring to part of a book or document and appendixes is used as the plural form when referring to the anatomical appendix. There's no set rule and you will be understood regardless of which form you use.

    Speaking grammatically with reference to language… it should be appendices because of its Latin origin — evolution of language over time has given more than one form. :dontknow:
