I'm thinking of either studying Maths or Physics at the University of York and while I understand what I'll need for the former, I'm not overly sure for the latter.

For my A levels, I am taking Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Physics. I am keeping Maths and Physics for certain.
My problem however lies with which of Chemistry and Further Maths I'm going to keep for year 13.
My question is: If I take Physics at York University - or any for that matter - which of Chemistry and Further Maths will be more beneficial to my entry?

    Hiya,

Our entry requirements state that you need AAA at A-Level, with A in Maths and Physics. The third A-Level can be in a variety of subjects, so it really won't matter which you choose, between Chemistry or Further Maths. I would advise to pick the subject you prefer and feel you can do well in

Obviously, I can't say anything on behalf of other universities - you'll need to check with them to see if they have a preference.

    Hope that helps!

    Katie
