    Hi there,

I did my ukcat this year and got 663 which is at 70% when comparing myself to this years cohort. I prepared for about a month using mainly an online tool called 'medify' (i highly recommend this to you). Overall, i did best in Abstract Reasoning after getting 790 and this is all due to the practice q's on medify. Im gunna be totally honest and say start preparing straight after your as levels and then take it in july or august as yu tend to get a higher score due to yu being less stressed or something (i did mine in mid-sept). Are yu applying for med or dent?

Average is on ukcat's twitter page which can be found on their website.

The average was 631 and you are at the 4th decile which is the 40th percentile meaning you did better than 40% of the candidates that took the test. Hope this helps and good luck.

You should avoid unis woth cut offs like sheffield, manchester etc. If your gcses are good then yu have a good chance at some unis that look at gcse and ukcat. Bristol is an option as they look at 70% personal statement. I dont think cardiff look at ukcat much either. Btw im applying to leicester, liverpool, HYMS and manchester. My strategy is to pick one where i have a really good shot to get into (HYMS) two which i really like and have a moderate chance to get into (leicester+liverpool) and one which i really like but is a bit risky (manchester-last year ukcat cut off was 665 i have 663
