Are my results good enough for medicine

    I got my GCSE's this august. I would appreciate any comments

    Biology: A*
    Chemistry: A*
    Physics: A*
    Maths: A*
    Further Maths: A
    English Language: A
    English Literature: A
    Georgraphy: A
    RS: A
    PE: B
    Economics: B
    Latin: B

    Yes they would be fine for everywhere except the med schools which use GCSE results as the main discriminant when picking interview candidates e.g. Oxford, Cardiff, Birmingham.

    There are also lots of other elements which make a successful application, but as far as GCSEs go those will be just fine.
