acne prescriptions

i've been on prescriptions for acne for longer than i can remember but recently my doctor changed my prescription to treclin, from one that actually really worked for me. this has resulted in painful under the skin spots and incredibly oily skin. has anyone been given a really great acne prescription? preferably one with benzoyl peroxide. I was on epiduo before which was great for me but they recommended i stop due to the antibiotic element.

also please don't recommend something like sudocrem lol!! I'm sure its fine for mild blemishes but trust me I'm a little past that point

I had a roll on thing called Zineryt (hope I spelled that right). I had quite a mild case which is actually normally okay with savlon though so I don't know what sort of seriousness of acne it's for. Looks like that has some antibiotic in it though so probably not the best option for you.

I'd suggest you talk to your doctor about the change and tell them it's causing you problems. They will be able to make links to different types of acne treatment that we probably can't cos they are just more used to it and know more abouth the ingredients.
