    You are meant to, yes, but some people dont, as its not the first thing that pops into your head to tell them. Its best to tell them. Even if they arent particularly bothered, at least you have told them.

    You should read your policy. You should probably make sure and ask them.

    Certain professions are regarded as being a higher risk

    So technically yes but if a sales assistant and moving to a new shop -no.
    If a sales assistant but moving to become a stunt man. - yes
