Pretty sure there's usually numbers you can call to deal with this. Try calling on-site security if you have the number

I have a residential tutor but I don't want to wake him up ☹️ Not sure if this is a job for on site security? Also don't want to come across as too much of a humbug.

Thats exactly what onsite security is there to do. And nobody at the party will know its you who called them.

Not on a Monday night/Tuesday morning. We're technically not allowed any noise past 10 pm on a week day or any parties without permission

if you didn't want to have parties going on around you you should have gone to private accomodation. for the majority of people this is the only 3 yrs of their life they can have independant fun WHILE still getting a good degree. weeknights are normal nights to have parties, weekends are for the locals.

    invest in some earplugs.

Wouldn't mind tbh but I have medical conditions that make me really tired most of the time, let alone if I only have a couple of hours of sleep. I pay a lot for my lectures and don't want to fall asleep in them 😅

oh ok sorry that is fair enough but you should probably buy earplugs. you can't constantly stop people having parties it's kind of the main thing about halls. i would advise unless it's exam time you don't really have the right to complain. can you transfer to a quieter halls?

No tbh I understand that they're here to have fun and I don't have the right to stop them. In fact I like joining in on the weekends. It just I have a test tomorrow. I think I shall invest in some earplugs though for future haha
