Applying for History: Essay Submission Question

    Hello everyone,

I'm applying to Oxford from the US, and the system is a bit different at my school. All essays we've written in school have been "in class" essays- my history teacher has thrown away all my last years essays and so I have gathered some English essays I could use. Keep in mind that there was a 35 minute time limit to write these reports, and my best piece of work is around 600 words. Would I be looked down upon for submitting an English essay that was written in class? I would hope that Oxford would understand the situation...

I would write another research report on my own but none of my teachers are willing to grade/comment on it :/ I'll have to keep asking.

Maybe contact them and ask. I'm sure there have been others in your situation in the past so they must have a policy in place.
