1. Hey guyz,

Thought I'd make a thread about a paper I wrote like 10 mins ago. How did it go for everyone who wrote it??

It went great for me. The paper was pretty short, 10 questions only. The question on binomial expansion was a bit surprising.

Hey there

It was a good paper, but the binomial one threw me off - reckon I scored like 1 mark on it Loved the last q, wby

I got n=6 for the binomial question.
Do you remember what you got for the arithmetic sequence one ?
Cause I got a quadratic in n for the sum. I got 20 and 61 when I solved it. I picked 20 as the answer.

The x/a+y/b=1 question was also a bit new.

Yeah the substitution part was confusingWhat are the values you got for a and b??

n=20 ; If 61, then term value would be -100 (impossible)

I'm going to have to retake hahaha, made way too many mistake here lool

6 and 8 not sure which was which though.
Even my mates got 6 and 8 but i got 4 and 2 which was wrong

What was the date you got for the question regarding the cyclist's?
4th of June I think
12. It went super well for me The binomial one was a bit tricky :/ So was the x/a + y/b = 1 one But otherwise good paper

4th june
hello everyone!!!

Well was the first term may 1st or may 15th ?? I can't rememeber
15. was the result you got fo the binomial expansion q in the second part a fraction ? I got 21/4

I think it was the first term

What did you put your date as?
For the question they asked to find n
I put it as 20th but I'm not so sure about that anymore

I believe i treated may 1st as the first term so I ,as well, put the 20th of may as my answer

gahhh i always have doubts after a test because I can't remember my answers

what did you put in the second part of the binomial expansion?? for the coefficient of x^2 ? I put 21/4

I got -9/4 I think for n=6

hmm do you perhaps remember thefirst bracket in the binomial q?
20. 1) for the first ans, ( equation of the curve ) c= -7 2)tan 2x = 3 , x=-54.2 , 35.8 for the other trigonometry , x= 7/12 pie , 11/12 pie 3) for the AP : i) 15th day = 130km ii) on 20th may for the gp i) r = 1/2 , a=16 ii) sum to infinity =30 4) for the binomial, n=6 , coefficient x^2 = 5.25 or 21/4
