Feeling Second Best

    • Thread Starter

Just recently I've been feeling second best to my best friend, and it's starting to grind on me. I don't usually feel like this but I just feel like everyone prefers her over me and I'm getting myself down over it. I've always struggled to be confident in myself and she just seems so much better than me, in the case of that she can get a lad so much easier and she just seems to get more interest and be more successful than I do. Am I not putting enough effort in or something? I'm really not sure what to do.

    Tell me more about yourself?

What are you doing? College, uni?

What are your hobbies, ambitions, what do you like to do?

You are you, you have qualities your friends doesn't have, also life experiences.

You should be proud of yourself, accept yourself, focus on yourself and your own life, do things that make you happy.

As for getting a lad, you could try joining online dating sites, going to speed dating events, joining clubs out of interest, going out or getting a job.
